What: IMBD Bird Walk

Where: Eidolon Nature Preserve in Morgan County

When: Sunday, May 3, 2015

Time: 7:30 a.m.

Cost: Free

PVAS will sponsor an IMBD Bird Walk at the Eidolon Nature Preserve in Morgan County on Sunday, May 3.

The walk will begin at 7:30 a.m. and be led by local birding experts Jon Boone and Janet Ardam. It will be free, and anyone with an interest is invited to attend. No pre-registration is required.

This will be a good opportunity to see a variety of migrating and year-round birds before trees are in full foliage.

In particular, it will offer a chance to see the rare Cerulean Warbler, a species of concern that nests in considerable numbers at Eidolon at this time of year.

Participants should wear sturdy walking shoes or boots, dress appropriately for the prevailing weather and bring water and bug spray.
