Bring your family to a nature-themed storytime and activity at Yankauer Preserve!  Meet other families in your community and enjoy the outdoors during these fun-filled programs.  The read aloud stories and activities are geared toward children 8 and younger, but everyone is welcome and will have a good time.

Join us first at the Yankauer Pavilion for a nature themed story, then take part in a nature activity.  Yankauer's trails are natural surface (dirt) with hills and rocks, so rugged strollers or packs are recommended for younger children.  Dress for the weather and closed-toed shoes are recommended.

Pre-registration is required.

Programs are generally rain or shine, but severe weather may force occasional cancellations.  Pre-registration will help us contact you in this unlikely event.

Family Nature Tales is designed to encourage families to explore nature together and is funded by a grant from the Nora Roberts Foundation.  For more information, contact Ellen Murphy
