What: Guided Walking Tour of the State Arboretum of Viginia

Where: State Arboretum of Virginia and Blandy Experimental Farm, 400 Blandy Farm Lane, Boyce VA

When: Thursday, April 16, 2015

Time: 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.

*Cost: $5 per person

Join Steven Carroll, Director of Public Programs at the State Arboretum of Virginia & Blandy Experimental Farm as he leads us on a tour of the Arboretum grounds.

Mr. Carroll will guide the tour through the Arboretum collections and glorious displays of flowering trees, shrubs, the chestnut grove and wildflowers.

Everyone is welcome on this tour, including children, however registration is required. 

Dress for the weather and wear appropriate shoes as this is a walking tour. The Arboretum grounds are mostly flat, however can be uneven in some places.

If there is a light mist, the tour will take precede as scheduled however if there is a down pour, the event will be rescheduled.

It is suggested, but not necessary, to bring binoculars if you have them.

The Arboretum is located at 400 Blandy Farm Lane, Boyce, VA 22620. 

Off US-17S/US - 50 E - there is an entrance sign into the Arboretum. Follow this around until you see the public parking lot. Please meet for the tour at the library.

Debbie Maiorano will be meeting at the Food Lion of Inwood for anyone who would like to carpool. Meet/park by the main road as soon as you turn into the Food Lion lot. Meet at 9:00; leave by 9:15 as it is 30 minutes to the Arboretum from Food Lion.
