Hike participants should plan to park along the shoulder on the south side of Orleans Road across from the preserve gate, and meet the hike leaders at the gate.

Be sure to wear sturdy walking shoes or boots, dress appropriately for prevailing weather conditions, and bring along water and bug spray.

The hike will take place in the event of light rain or showers but it will be cancelled in there are heavy rains or storms.
