Local Master Naturalist and birding expert Joette Borzik will give a presentation on the Birds of Cuba. The program is free, no registration is needed and everyone is welcome to attend.

Ms. Borzik recently returned from her fourth trip to Cuba, where she conducted Cuban bird surveys with Cuban ornithologists and citizen scientists from the US.

The diversity of Cuba’s birds is considerable, with the country supporting 26 endemic birds found nowhere else in the world.  Cuba is also home to the world’s smallest bird and the world’s smallest frog.
