Go underground with an experienced guide who will show you the wonders of spelunking.  Whiting’s Neck Cave is a true cave, ideal for beginners, and contains many interesting features.  No special skills are needed to navigate the cave, but some parts are strenuous and you will get dirty!

Meet at Yankauer Nature Preserve and then walk to the cave.  This adventure is being led by GOAdventure, a reputable, regional outfitter with over 19 years of experience.  All participants will receive instruction in basic caving safety and technical skills before exploring the cave.

There will be some tight squeezes, climbing up and down, and some physical challenges, so it is recommended for those in good physical condition.  Children must be at least 10 years old and accompanied by an adult.

Everyone who participates is required to sign a waiver and medical history form which can be found here.  Please bring it on the day of caving.

Detailed information about preparing for this adventure will be sent to you after registration.

Pre-registration is required. PVAS reserves the right to cancel the program if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
