Join the Potomac Valley Audubon Society on Wednesday, January 13th at 7:00 PM for our regular monthly program.

Mark Madison from the National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) will be presenting on International Wildlife Trafficking.

Mark Madison is the National Fish and Wildlife Service Historian stationed at the National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, WV.  There he helps manage a 400,000 item archive and do museum displays.

Mr. Madison will discuss international wildlife trafficking and what can be done to stop it by bringing out some confiscated items from the NCTC archive. He will have the "Suitcase for Survival" which is a new tool to help educators teach and prevent international poaching.

This program is free and everyone is welcome to attend.

From WV Route 9, take the Short Road exit. If traveling east, take a left off the exit. If traveling west, take a right off the exit. Follow to the stop light at Sheetz.  Turn right. Take the next left across from Food Lion onto Hospice Lane. Follow the road back.

The office will be on your left (the inpatient will be on your right). The door to enter for the PVAS Program is to the right of the main office door. We will have a sign on the door.
