Join the Potomac Valley Audubon Society on Wednesday, February 10th at 7:00 PM for our regular monthly program (at a change of venue location).

Joshua Vance will be presenting on what to do when you encounter wildlife commonly found in West Virginia and surrounding areas.

Josh works closely with the community in outreach and education as a Wildlife Manager for West Virginia Division of Natural Resources. He works extensively with nuisance wildlife management in the urban interface, chronic wasting disease surveillance in white-tailed deer, habitat management on state owned wildlife management areas and population and harvest management of game species. His presentation will demonstrate the proper way to handle wildlife encounters, what to do and how to keep both yourself and the animal safe. 

This program is free and everyone is welcome to attend.

From I-81 take exit 13, Dry Run Road.Head towards Hospital and turn right on Tennessee Avenue which runs along front of Hospital Campus. Take first left turn onto Hospital Drive and immediately veer right into parking lot. Circle outer perimeter of parking lot and look for brown sign, Health Sciences Center, at top of our drive. Parking in main lot in front of Health Sciences Center.
