When:  Monday April 18, 2016.  Pre-registration is required.

Time:  9:30-11:00 a.m.

Where:  Yankauer Nature Preserve, Whiting's Neck Road (off Scrabble Road between Shepherdstown and Martinsburg).

Price:  $10 per child/adult partner. (There's no extra charge for a second child.)

This Month's Theme:  Dirt Don't Hurt!  Let's look at the soil under our feet as we hike and look for tracks in the mud.

Introduce your preschooler (ages 3-5) to the natural world and explore it together through walks, circle time, games, crafts, and activities!   The Wee Naturalist program leader is Anne Young, a trained environmental educator and mother of a preschooler.

Every month we'll focus on something different in nature, appropriate to the season. The first half hour of the program is designed for un-programmed activities and exploring with your child together.  The structured program follows from 10-11 a.m.

A minimum of 8 is needed to conduct the program, so pre-registration is essential.

Pre-registration is required. If the minimum number is not met, this program can be cancelled.  Programs are conducted rain or shine and include activities in an open-air pavilion and nature walks. Everyone should wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.
