Spend a spring morning outdoors learning about and enjoying the birds in your neighborhood!

Meet trip leader, Debbie Maiorano, next to McKee Pavilion where she will give a brief and general overview on basic information regarding birding such as: common birds to our area, migrating birds, birding etiquette, identifying birds, bird calls & sounds, bird guides, birding equipment, bird applications, and attracting birds to your home.

After the introduction, the group will enjoy a walk around the park; put your new birding skills to work and see what you find!

This walk is geared to individuals and families who have little to no experience with bird watching.

Children and families welcomed but we ask that all children be accompanied by an adult.

It’s not required but if you have binoculars please bring them.  Please wear sturdy footwear and dress for the weather.

Rain date Saturday, May 14th.

Registration encouraged but not required.

Meeting place: Alongside the McKee Pavilion. Use the pool house entrance on Tennessee Avenue. The pavilion is on the top of the hill on the right hand side.
