Join in the celebration of International Migratory Bird Day with a Bird Walk at PVAS's Eidolon Nature Preserve in Morgan County, WV.

This walk should offer good opportunities to see a variety of migrating and year-round birds before trees are in full foliage.

In particular, it will offer a chance to see the rare Cerulean Warbler, a species of concern that can be found in considerable numbers at Eidolon at this time of year.

The walk will be free, and anyone with an interest is invited to attend. No pre-registration is required.

Those who wish to join in should plan to arrive at the preserve by 7:30 a.m.

Participants should wear sturdy walking shoes or boots, dress appropriately for the prevailing weather and bring water and bug spray.

Meet in the parking lot at Eidolon Nature Preserve at 10:00 a.m. The preserve is located on Sideling Hill Mountain Northwest of Great Cacapon. Directions to Eidolon Nature Preserve can be found here.
