Where: National Conservation Training Center, 698 Conservation Way, Shepherdstown, WV

When: Saturday, September 10, 2016 (registration closes Monday, Sept. 5)

Time: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon

Registration is required and will close on Wednesday, September 7.         

Join the Monarch Alliance and the Potomac Valley Audubon Society as they partner in celebrating the fall migration of Monarchs.  Monarch Discovery Days is a 2 week celebration of activities highlighting the importance, education and preservation of Monarchs. 

On Saturday, September 10, participants will walk the campus of NCTC searching for Monarch Butterflies to capture, tag and release. 

This event at the National Conservation Training Center requires registration. Please bring your photo ID and be prepared to stop at the security station upon entry to NCTC. 

Participants will meet on the steps of the front Entry building. If you need help with directions, please ask at the security station and they will help direct you.

Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy walking shoes and bring drinking water.
