More information:  This meeting will give community members more information about the Chimney Swift Project on campus, and allow any questions or feedback to be shared.

This project is in response to the demolition of Sara Cree's chimney on Shepherd University. Campus facilities, along with the PVAS are working together to construct a new roosting site for Chimney Swifts. Previously, Sarah Cree's chimney has been a popular roosting site, hosting on average 1,400 individuals chimney swifts twice a year. Because Chimney Swifts are a species of concern it is crucial to ensure that they have sufficient roosting sites in desired locations.
