When:  Friday February 3, 2017.  Pre-registration is required.

Time:  10:00 am-12:00 noon

Where:  Cool Spring Nature Preserve, 1469 Lloyd Road, Charles Town WV 25414 (about 6 miles south of Charles Town)

Price:  $5 per child. (No charge for adults)

Ages: Designed for ages 5-12. (Younger siblings are welcome as a parent/child team.)   

Theme:  This month's program, held at Cool Spring Preserve, is led by PVAS staff Amy Moore.  She will focus on "Winter" and include a tree identification hike.

Join PVAS staff and volunteers for nature explorations specifically designed for homeschool groups!  Each program will be science-based and include exploring, observing, discovering, and reflecting on a specific nature-based theme.

The first 30 minutes of each program will be self-directed, with instructor-led activities following.  Each session will include time outside and on the trails for natural exploration, so dress for the weather.

Pre-registration for this program is required.  A minimum of 8 is needed to conduct the program.  Fees are refundable if the program is cancelled.
