What: Family Owl Prowl

Where: Cool Spring Preserve, 1469 Lloyd Road, Charles Town, WV

When: Sunday, February 19th 2017 (Monday is a school holiday in Berkeley County)

Time: 6:00 PM

Cost: $8 per family (Pre-registration required)

Owl Expert: Bob Dean

Enjoy an evening learning about and searching for owls with owl expert Bob Dean. 

The evening will start at Cool Spring's classroom with with the reading of Owl Moon by Jane Yolen. After the book, Bob Dean will share some information about owls and prepare families for the owl walk. 

The owl prowlers will hike approximately 1/2 mile over gentle hills and uneven terrain and warm up with hot chocolate afterwards. 

Please dress warmly, have kids wear warm boots and eat dinner prior to the event. Feel free to bring along a flashlight if you like. 

The fee is $8 per family and pre-registration is required. Due to parking limitations, event limited to 10 families. Please register per family - not per person. 

Cool Spring Preserve is located about 6 miles southwest of Charles Town.
