WhereCool Spring Preserve

Price:  $6 per child. (No charge for adults) 

Ages:  Ages 10-13 

Theme:  This program is designed to give students an introduction to birding. We'll teach you  techniques for identifying birds before hitting the trails with binoculars in search of birds. We'll record our observations on the e-bird website, learning about citizen science in the process. 

Registration information

  • Pre-registration for this program is required.
  •  A minimum of 5 per session is needed to conduct the program. Fees are refundable if the program is cancelled by instructor or cancelled by parent more than one week in advance.

If inclement weather is in the forecast, you will be notified by e-mail either the day before the program or by 8:30 am on the day of the program.
