Price:  $6 per child. (No charge for adults) 

Ages:  Ages 8-13 

Theme: This program includes an educational component and hands on community service! Come learn about the non-native invasive plants that are taking over natural spaces in our area. We will learn about the impact of these problem plants and how to identify them, and then  practice some techniques for removal of some invasive plants on Cool Spring Preserve. 

Please wear clothes that can get dirty. Tools and gloves for plant removal will be provided.

Registration information

  • Pre-registration for this program is required.
  •  A minimum of 5 per session is needed to conduct the program. Fees are refundable if the program is cancelled by instructor or if a parent cancels their child's registration more than one week in advance of the program.
