Christmas Bird Counts have been an Audubon Society tradition for over 100 years!
There are many ways you can participate.
  • Beginners may like counting birds at their feeders and reporting the results.  Please click here to check the map to see if you are in the Inwood circle.  If so, then look for the Inwood Tally Sheet, print the tally sheet out and keep a tally of your feeder birds on January 5. The Tally Sheet can be  mailed to PVAS PO Box 578  Shepherdstown, WV 25443 or email it bobdean52@gmail.com.
  • Beginners may also like taking a more active role by joining a team of birders and heading out in the fields
  • More experienced birders may be interested in being on a team in the field, possibly partnering with novice birders and showing them what a Christmas Bird Count is all about!
