  • Wednesday, January 10, 2018
  • 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • The Daily Grind, Martinsburg (Foxcroft Ave.)

What: PVAS Nature Book Lovers Discussion Group

Who: Anyone with an interest in reading and discussing natural history. No registration is required and it's free!

When: Wednesday, January 10, 2018, 2:00 p.m.

Where: The Daily Grind in Martinburg (on Foxcroft Ave, near Outback). We have reserved their meeting room.

Join other adults who enjoy reading and discussing books about natural history.  Each month the group gathers to discuss a different book or natural history subject.

We're starting the new year by reading about West Virginia!  Choose a book that reflects something about the people, the mountains, the culture, the state!  There are many great West Virginia authors including Diane Giardina, Homer Hickam, Ann Pancake, Cynthia Rylant, and others.  Group members are welcome to choose fiction or non-fiction, poetry, or something for young readers.  We know you can find something interesting to read and share!  (If you don't get your book selection finished, come to the discussion anyway!)

For more information or if you need suggestions for authors, contact Ellen Murphy (Ellen@PotomacAudubon.org)
