Explore 350 acres of rocks and crannies where wildlife can hide as you imagine yourself an animal!  Which way would you go--down that trail or another one?  What will you find?  Eidolon Preserve is on Sideling Hill and home to many animals and plants.  We'll go exploring, first at the cottage, and then toward the top of the ridge and discover what is there!  Bring a snack for mid-morning.  Because the habitat of Eidolon is perfect for snakes, boots are a must for hiking, even in heavily traveled areas in cool weather.

Outdoor Explore!  is designed to encourage families to explore nature through unstructured, but supervised, exploration and play in a variety of settings and habitats around the Eastern Panhandle.  For more information, contact Jan Hummer at or 304-839-5128304-839-5128.

Pre-registration is required. Refunds are possible only if the class is cancelled.
