PVAS Program at the National Conservation Training Center

  • Wednesday, May 14, 2014
  • 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • The National Conservation Training Center, Room 105 IE, Shepherdstown, WV
Join the Potomac Valley Audubon Society on Wednesday May 14 at 7:00 to hear Katie Fallon present on 'The Vulture: Invaluable Friend, Unfortunate Underdog'.

Katie's presentation on vultures will mark the culmination of our 10 day International Migratory Birding Day (IMBD) celebration.
IMBD's 2014 theme focuses on 'Why Birds Matter'. Katie's discussion will highlight how often misunderstood, vultures provide a key and valuable service for the ecosystems in which they live.
Ms. Fallon, back by popular demand, was our speaker last year when she talked about Cerulean Warblers.

The vulture presentation will be held at 7:00 pm in Room 105 Instructional East at the National Conservation Training Center outside Shepherdstown on Wednesday, May 14.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend. No registration is needed, but you may need to present a picture ID at the NCTC security gate. Security can direct you to parking in the Blue Lot. Check the board in the main lobby for any updated room assignment.
