Charles Town Christmas Bird Count

  • Sunday, December 14, 2014
  • Jefferson County, WV
Christmas Bird Counts have been an Audubon Society tradition for over 100 years!  There are many ways that you can participate.

  • Beginners may like counting birds at their feeders and reporting the results.  Please click here to check the map to see if you are in the Charles Town circle.  If so, then look for the Charles Town Tally Sheet, print the tally sheet out and keep track of your feeder birds on December 14.  The tally sheet can be mailed to PVAS P.O. Box 578 Shepherdstown WV 25443 or emailed to
  • Beginners may also like taking a more active roll by joining a team of birders and heading out in the fields.
  • More experienced birders may be interested in being on a team in the field; possibly partnering with novice birders and showing them what a Christmas Bird Count is all about!
