Join in the celebration of International Migratory Bird Day with a Bird Walk at Murphy's Farm, Harper's Ferry National Park.

Deb Hale will be leading this birding trip at Murphy's Farm on Thursday, May 8 at 7:30 a.m.

This event is free and open to anyone with an interest, regardless of their birding skills, however registration is strongly encouraged.

Participants should plan to meet at the Park's main Visitors Center off Route 340.  Please note that the Park Service will charge a fee of $10 per vehicle to enter the Park unless you have an annual Park pass or a NPS Golden Eagle pass.

This trip will involve about 2 miles of moderate hiking, mostly through fields.  Participants should dress appropriately for the prevailing weather, wear sturdy shoes and bring along drinking water.

Binoculars will be available for anyone who needs them.

Please contact trip leader Deb Hale at 304-535-2346 or debhale72@gmail.com with any questions you may have.
