Join local arborist, Shawn Walker, for a summer tree walk at CraftWorks at Cool Spring.

The grounds at CraftWorks hosts a variety of awesome chinkapin oaks, sycamores, hackberries and a collection of ash trees. In addition, Shawn will explore farmland that is in the process of converting to woods.

In keeping with Shawn's tree walk tradition, the event will culminate with a tree height guessing contest.

The tree walk is co-sponsored by CraftWorks and the Potomac Valley Audubon Society. Children are welcomed but must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration is required through the link below:

Meet at CraftWorks (5 miles south of Charles Town) at 8:45 AM. Please dress for the weather, bring along drinking water, sunscreen and bug spray.
