Join the Potomac Valley Master Naturalist Class for this workshop on the Natural History of Aquatic Habitats.

WV Department of Environmental Protection Biologist, Glenn Nelson is leading this workshop at Cacapon State Park.  

The class will take place in the Lord Fairfax Room of the Main Lodge. The Lord Fairfax Room is on the same floor as the check-in desk.

The park is located 9 miles south of Berkeley Springs. Click on this link for directions. 

The students will gain a basic understanding of the characteristics of water that are important to aquatic organisms, the habitats created by the still waters of ponds and lakes and the moving waters of streams and some of the animals and plants that inhabit WV waters.

This workshop is open to the public however registration is required. 

* Registration fees are non-refundable. PVAS reserves the right to cancel the workshop due to unforeseen issues. In this case, a full refund will be given.
