Welcome to the Potomac Valley Audubon Society!

various events with PVAS: Audubon Discovery Camp, Birding, Egg Hunt

Our goal is to get everybody outside to explore nature! PVAS sponsors many ongoing events and programs for all ages. From summer day camps to school trips to family events at one of our four nature preserves, we pride ourselves on engaging kids of all ages with age-appropriate, hands-on activities that help them enjoy and learn about nature. We even have ways to help parents who want to respond to their child’s new-found interest in nature, but aren’t sure where to begin.

Our adult programs will help you enjoy birding, take field trips, lean through workshops about natural history, or just find ways to relax in nature. And if you like to party, our fundraising events are some of the best around!

Camps, school programs, scout groups, family events, adult programs, Master Naturalists, field trips, and fundraiser events - more information about all of these can be found on this website!

We're glad you've found us and are looking forward to getting to know you!
