Here are Windsong Bergman's letters to Mr. Bailes' 7th grade class at Capon Bridge Middle School in West Virginia. She left the U.S. for Niger in January 2004 for two years in the Peace Corps. Niger, a country in north central Africa, is about twice the size of Texas, and has a population similar to that of the state of Ohio.
