Wee Naturalists: Fall is Here!
Ages: 3-5 Single child: $7 members/$10 non-members. Additional children: $5 members/$8 non-members. We'll explore the seasonal changes that come with fall and the many shapes and colors found in nature, especially in leaves. This program will be science-based and includes exploring, observing, discovering, and reflecting on the program theme. It will include time outside for nature exploration, so wear clothes and shoes that are comfortable for hiking and suitable for the weather. Wee Naturalists: Critters in the Cold
Ages: 3-5 Single child: $7 PVAS members/$10 non-members. Additional children: $5 PVAS members/$8 non-members. Let's learn about how critters stay cozy in the winter! Be sure to dress for the cold, as for part of the program we'll be going on a short hike. We'll also be making bird feeders using pinecones and peanut butter. CANCELLED – Wee Naturalist: Feeder Birds
What birds are visiting our bird feeder? Children will make their own cardboard binoculars before heading outside to watch the birds at the feeder. We'll learn about the different foods that birds eat and use pretend beaks to practice gathering food like a bird does.
