The Potomac Arts Festival is a fundraising event for the environmental education programs of the Potomac Valley Audubon Society, which is a local non-profit organization now celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Schedule of Events
 
Friday, November 2, 2007
9:00 to 5:00 pm - Check-in and setup for all artists
5:30 to 7:00 pm - Onsite judging and selection of artist awards
5:30 to 8:30 pm - Festival Preview and Reception for Guests

 


Saturday, November 3, 2007
10:00 am to 6:00 pm - Festival is FREE and open to public


 
Sunday, November 4, 2007
11:00 am to 4:00 pm - Festival is FREE and open to public

Artists disassemble exhibits 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm


Festival Fundraiser
Friday night's “Preview Party” is the fundraiser portion of the weekend event from 5:30-8:30pm. Enjoy a sneak preview of the artists’ work and the opportunity to purchase your “first picks” before the general public arrives on Saturday. At the same time, bid on silent auction items donated by the artists, enjoy drinks, hors d’oeuvres, music, and wonderful company. All proceeds from the event benefit PVAS’ education programs.
