PVAS loves birds! We offer birding programming year-round and have something for everyone. For those looking to start birding, check out Birding 101, our beginners birding course that we have been teaching for over 30 years. Birders of all skill levels are invited to join our guided bird walks held at one of the PVAS nature preserves or at other local birding hotspots. Check our Events Calendar for upcoming bird walks, as well as, special birding workshops, such as bird banding. If you’re looking to enter a fun and friendly birding competition take part in our annual Ruth Ann Dean Memorial Birdathon. Want to bird for a cause? Participate in one of our Birding Community Science projects such as the annual Christmas Bird Count.
We look forward to birding with you!
