Are you interested in volunteering as an educator to share the life stories and conservation messages of our Animal Ambassadors? In this training, you’ll learn educational techniques and interpretive strategies to engage visitors of all ages at the Case Nature Center at our monthly Turtle Time programs. This summer, we are hoping to start offering Turtle Time programs in the evenings so more people can meet and learn about our Animal Ambassadors!

At this training, you’ll gain the tools to communicate the important roles our Animal Ambassadors play in conservation. These animals, unable to return to the wild, serve as living reminders of the need for wildlife conservation. Through this training, you’ll not only deepen your understanding of wildlife conservation but also become a key part of educating others about the essential connection between animals, ecosystems, and human actions.

  • Walking Distance: Little to no walking.
  • Exposure: This is an indoor program.
  • Restroom: Indoor, flushing restrooms are available.
  • Parking/Where to Meet: Meet inside the Case Nature Center.
  • What to Bring: Printouts will be provided. You may want to bring something to take notes with.

Registration will remain open until the start of the program.

If the required minimum # of people do not register by 4 pm the evening prior, the program will be cancelled.
