Lily Campbell
Summer Camp Counselor
Lily joined PVAS as a Summer Camp Counselor in May 2026 and is proud to serve the same community that helped shape her love for learning and nature. A lifelong West Virginian, Lily grew up with a deep appreciation for the outdoors—fittingly, she was named after her mother’s favorite flower.
Lily is a 2024 summa cum laude graduate of Martinsburg High School and is currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education at West Virginia University, with a focus in Child Studies and Family Development. Through her academic and field experiences, she has worked with students across a variety of subjects, but her greatest passion lies in teaching science and inspiring curiosity about the natural world. She is especially excited to be part of the PVAS team not only as a counselor, but as a mentor and role model for young learners. Having once participated in similar programs herself, Lily is eager to create meaningful, hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and foster a lifelong love of nature.
Outside of teaching, Lily enjoys expressing her creativity through singing, playing guitar, reading, and crafting. She also loves spending time outdoors with her family and her mini goldendoodle, often exploring local trails and enjoying the beauty of West Virginia.
