Book a program at your school and let us bring nature to your classroom!

PVAS has been partnering with teachers and principals since 2001 to develop and offer a wide variety of programs for local youth that meet teachers’ needs. We offer grade-specific programs for classrooms from Kindergarten through 5th grade. All are tied to state-mandated content standards and support 21st Century Learning.

Field Trips to our Yankauer Nature Preserve in Berkeley County, and Cool Spring Preserve in Jefferson County.

In-School Programs

In- School Program Requirements

PVAS will only be able to visit schools for programs if at least 2 hours of programming is scheduled. The programming can be split between classes and grades. For example: Two 2nd grade hour long programs; Four 30 minute, Kindergarten programs

$150 per class
Up to 4 classes per field trip
