2021 Bird Seed Sale

Potomac Valley Audubon Society’s 40th Annual Bird Seed Sale

Fill your feeders with high-quality seed and suet AND support PVAS’s educational programs, conservation initiatives, and nature preserves. We’ve once again partnered with our friends at Sunny Meadows Garden Center to offer everything from songbird food to suet designed especially for woodpeckers (and much more). We are accepting orders online from September 15th – October 10th. You may choose to PICK-UP your bird seed, keep it in STORAGE, or BOTH.

We breathe a collective sigh of relief as bird health has improved in this region and bird feeding has been allowed to resume in WV, VA, MD, & DC after months of hiatus.  If you would like to read an update on suggested bird feeder cleaning routines by the WVDNR, you may do so here.

PICK-UP:

  • Pick up selected items on Saturday, November 6th, 2021 from one of four locations:
    • Audiology, Inc (400 W. King St., Martinsburg, WV 25401): 10 a.m. to 12 noon
    • Cool Spring Preserve (1469 Lloyd Road, Charles Town, WV 25414): 9 a.m. to 12 noon
    • Warehouse on Union Street (Berkeley Springs, WV 25411): 10 a.m. to 12 noon
    • Sunny Meadows Garden Center (7437 Sharpsburg Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713): 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

STORAGE:

  • Store selected items at Sunny Meadows Garden Center between November 6th, 2021 – February 26th, 2022 to be picked up during their business hours at your convenience.
