Exploring Nature through Expressive Arts Workshop
Sunday, April 5 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Workshop Instructor: Susan Loonsk
PVMN Continuing Education Eligible
This workshop is open to the public and no prior meditation or art making experience is needed; however, registration is required. Please register below.
Creative processes such as art can help us to understand and experience nature in a rich and meaningful way. Explore and connect your Inner Nature to the Natural World through Expressive Arts and nature-based activities. Concepts, Practices, and Projects will be rooted in Ecopsychology Principles.
Even if you have previously participated in one of these workshops, all of Susan’s classes have different meditations and art activities. Participants can attend one or all in any sequence, as the classes do not build on each other.
Art supplies provided. Participants may bring any favorite water-based paints, or drawing materials of their own if they wish.
This workshop is being held at Cool Spring Preserve in the upstairs classroom, as well as on the trails of the preserve. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable clothing and sturdy walking shoes. Bring along drinking water and insect repellent.
Please contact Krista Hawley at firstname.lastname@example.org or 681-252-1387 with any questions you may have.
All fees are non-refundable.
