Celebrate the Beaver Moon with a Moonlight Hike at the Preserve!

Let the full moon be our guide on the beautiful fall trails at Cool Spring Preserve. Join Molly Hillenbrand, PVAS AmeriCorps Volunteer, on a moonlit walk around Linda’s Loop. We will keep an eye and ear out for our busy resident beavers and perhaps a muskrat, bats, owls and other animals that call Cool Spring Preserve ‘home’.

Everyone is welcome to join this full moon hike! Please wear comfortable walking shoes and know that if it has been rainy, the trails may be wet and muddy in spots. Bringing along insect repellant, drinking water and a flashlight is suggested.

(Kids under two are free. Do not include children under two when selecting the number of people attending for payment)

Before our hike begins we will gather at the preserve and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate while listening to tales of beavers. Then, we will be setting out for a night time hike around the preserve, looking and listening for signs of beavers and other night time creatures.
