Join us for an afternoon to honor the life and legacy of Potomac Valley Master Naturalist co-founder Cheryl Jennings. The Potomac Valley Master Naturalists have installed a memorial bench in honor of Cheryl at Stauffer’s Marsh Nature Preserve, one of her favorite places. Cheryl often encouraged others to “slow down, be present, and observe the world around you” and this event will reflect that through reflections from those who knew her and guided activities that she loved. If you would like to share memories or reflections of Cheryl, please indicate that in your registration. Light refreshments will be available. You can read more about the life and legacy of Cheryl on the West Virginia Master Naturalist website here: https://mnofwv.org/index.php/2024/10/30/co-founder-of-the-potomac-valley-chapter-cheryl-jennings-passes/
