Independent Volunteer Opportunities at Cool Spring Preserve

PVMN Volunteer Service Hours Eligible

The year is winding down but there is still a lot to do at our preserves! Help us prepare for winter by volunteering for one or more of the following tasks:

• Rethread loom in Nature Playspace (extra string stored in the barn)
• Wooden chair repair – There are two wooden chairs and a bench that need repair. We will move them all to the parking lot for easy pickup if someone takes on this project
• Weed the Monarch Waystation in front of CSP – Rid it of quack grass and onion grass.
• Weed the Rain Garden at the front entrance of parking lot – Look for ‘good’ plants.
• Second coat of stain on the front deck railings – All tools provided!
• Final trail clipping of the year! – Claim which trail you’d like to clear:
  Linda’s Loop
  Blackberry Path
  Flicker Flyway
  Swallowtail Trail
  Old Orchard Trail
  Pollinator Path
  Turtle Shortcut
  Whitetail Trail
