Nature Walk at Cacapon Resort State Park

Nature Walk Guide: Dale Kirchner, Certified Master Naturalist

This event is free and open to the public, however, registration is recommended. Please register below and note the following guidelines:

  • We ask that everyone have a mask with them and masks will be encouraged when in a close group setting
  • Respect the 6+ feet apart/physical distancing guidelines when possible
  • If you are sick or have been sick within the past two weeks (or been around anyone else that is sick), please stay home

Join Dale Kirchner, Certified Master Naturalist, for a guided Nature Walk on the Ridge Trail at Cacapon Resort State Park

This walk is open to anyone interested, however registration is encouraged.

Please meet at the Cacapon State Park Nature Center at 2:30pm (just following the Open House for prospective Master Naturalists). The group will set out on the walk from the Center.

Dale will lead the group at a comfortable pace for everyone and will focus on nature interpretation and sharing information about the state park.

Dale has been a Certified Master Naturalist with PVMN (pvmn.org)since 2017 and has logged countless volunteer hours at Cacapon State Park.
