Join Peggy Bowers for a special bird walk at Sundogs B&B!

PVAS Host: Peggy Bowers, Nancy Kirschbaum, and Carol Winckler

This event is free and open to the public.  Anyone with an interest is welcome to come along, regardless of their birding skills.  Children 12+ are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.  Registration is required and limited to 15 participants.

This beautiful property is managed to provide habitat for grassland and woodland birds. There are open meadows surrounded by trees, and access to woods along Rocky Marsh Run, a lovely fast flowing stream. We will walk about two and a half miles on mowed grassy trails that include gentle hills. There are easy returns to the parking area for anyone who doesn’t want to walk the entire distance.

We will see Baltimore and Orchard Orioles, Scarlet Tanagers, Flycatchers, and Warblers. Many of these species are nesting on the property. We will also look for spring migrants that are passing through on their way north.
