During this tour, participants will explore the center’s laboratories and outdoor research ponds while learning how scientists are working to address some of the most pressing conservation and natural resource management challenges in the U.S. As planning continues, we also hope to include brief presentations from researchers about their ongoing work—so if you register, please be prepared to stay beyond 11 a.m. in case these exciting opportunities are added to the agenda! The Eastern Ecological Science Center is committed to delivering world-class, actionable science that supports the protection and enhancement of our nation’s natural resources for generations to come. This is a rare opportunity to see how science directly informs decisions that preserve and enhance our quality of life.
