‘Wild Asana’ with Alison Zak: Author and Yoga Event

Join author Alison Zak for a discussion of her new book + an optional creekside yoga session!

This event costs $25.  Tickets include author talk/reading/Q&A, 1 signed copy, light refreshments, and an optional hour-long creek-side nature yoga practice.

Coming as a group and don’t need a book for every person?  Extra attendees can be added for $5 each.

Registration is required and limited to 30 participants.

Join Alison Zak, PVAS’s FIRST AmeriCorps Volunteer, Founder of the Human-Beaver Co-existence Fund, and now, debut author, as she discusses her new nature memoir, Wild Asana: Animals, Yoga, and Connecting Our Practice to the Natural World. Tickets include author talk/reading/Q&A, 1 signed copy, light refreshments, and an optional hour-long creek-side nature yoga practice. The event will also include a meet-and-greet with a special PVAS animal ambassador, Esther the Corn snake, who is featured in a chapter of the book. Additional books will be available for purchase, and all book sales are handled by our partners at Four Seasons Books.

*Please bring a blanket or yoga mat if you plan to stay for the gentle yet playful nature yoga session. We will take a short walk from nature center to a practice along Bullskin Run.
