We invite your family to join us for an interactive nature photography workshop led by photographer Meg Faehl. During this workshop, you’ll learn how to use a DSLR camera to capture the beauty of the spring season! This workshop will be held at Yankauer Nature Preserve. You won’t want to miss this exciting opportunity to learn a new skill! Children ages 10-16 must be registered to participate in this workshop. Accompanying adults (up to two per child) may attend for free. This is not a drop-off program, so an adult must be present at all times. PVAS will loan cameras to youth participants. Adults are welcome to bring a camera from home if desired. To store and keep photos to take home, SD cards are available to purchase with registration for a small additional fee. You are also welcome to bring your own SD card, but it must be formatted and cleared of all photos. Participants are encouraged to attend the afternoon wildflower walk with Naturalist Amy Thomas. Those who participate in both events may use the loaned camera to take photos during the wildflower walk as well!
