The tall deep purple blooms of New York ironweed will draw many pollinators to the garden in late summer and fall. This plant grows naturally in wet meadows, however, it does very well in the average garden with full sun to part shade. It is a tall plant, reaching 3-6’, making it a wonderful plant for the back of the border.
