Lucia is a proud native of Shepherdstown and a graduate of Shepherd University, where she earned degrees in both Music and Environmental Science. With a strong background in environmental policy, Lucia has built a career at the intersection of advocacy, coalition building, and public service. She currently serves as the Managing Director of the West Virginia Women’s Alliance, where she leverages her expertise in policy and grassroots organizing to advance equity for women and families across the state. Passionate about driving environmental change in her community, Lucia has worked on initiatives at both the state and federal levels, demonstrating a deep commitment to creating lasting impact through collaboration and civic engagement.
