The Potomac Valley Audubon Society welcomes Deborah Rochefort as she discusses “A Brief Introduction to Viruses.”

Viruses – what are they and how do they work? Join us for a quick overview on the nature of these dangerous but amazing disruptors of life (an especially timely topic during the current viral pandemic we face).

Dr. Deborah Rochefort has a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Connecticut, and is formerly an Assistant Professor of Genetics at Shepherd University.
