Casey Johnson is a wealth of information about greenhouses and how to create healthy environments for your plants. If you have questions for Casey, please add your question in the ‘comments section’ on our Facebook post or email them to Krista Hawley at AdultPrograms@PotomacAudubon.org. Krista will compile the questions and pass them along to Casey with answers being produced via email or virtually.

If you have access to Facebook, please ‘like’ and follow the Potomac Valley Audubon’s Facebook page. You may watch the event on Facebook at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9th, or view it anytime after that at a time that is convenient for you.

Casey has been with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service at the National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) since 2009.  The Land Management Program focuses on maintaining and improving the natural spaces of NCTC as a multi-use facility specifically for Fish & Wildlife Conservation Professionals and their partners.  Some of our programs include prescribed burning of warm season grass fields, invasive exotic plant and animal management, and a seasonal deer hunt open to public participation.
Casey graduated from Shepherd University’s Environmental Studies Program with a focus on Resource Management.

Please email Adult Program Coordinator Krista Hawley at AdultPrograms@PotomacAudubon.org with any questions you may have.
