Wellness Walk at Stauffer’s Marsh
Tuesday, March 15 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Wellness Walk Leader: Krista Hawley, PVAS Adult Program Coordinator
This walk is free and open to the public; however registration is required. Please register below.
Let’s get outside and walk the trails together!
Join Krista Hawley, PVAS Adult Program Coordinator, on a walk around Stauffer’s Marsh. The trail system at Stauffer’s is not extensive, but we will enjoy a walk along the meadow, a stop at beautiful Back Creek and spend some time observing the large ponds where we may see waterfowl and a glimpse of our resident beaver.
With an eye on staying mentally and physically healthy through the winter and early spring, Krista hopes you will join her on her monthly Wellness Walks at the PVAS Preserves. Look for a trail walks at Yankauer on April 12th to see the wildflowers and Eidolon on May 10th in hopes of seeing our cerulean warblers.
Everyone is welcome to join our Wellness Walks! Please wear warm, comfortable walking shoes and know that if it has been rainy or snowy, the trails may be wet and muddy in spots.
The group will meet at 10:00 am in the front parking lot of Stauffer’s Marsh. If you are using GPS to find the preserve, it is located directly across the road from 4069 Back Creek Valley Road Hedgesville, WV
Please contact Krista Hawley at AdultPrograms@PotomacAudubon.org or 681-252-1387 with any questions you may have.
